Receiving Rescue Roundup

null

This page offers a list of rescues working with overcrowded and struggling shelters, many in the South to help save lives.

Once a partnership is formed, these nonprofits pull dogs for transport to the north where they are placed into loving homes. Please remember as you review this roundup, that WWLDO does not have a relationship with these rescues. This list is provided as a resource for our shelter partners seeking to develop rescue alliances. It’s important to carefully research any rescue listed here to ensure a successful partnership.

Do you know any Animal Rescue or “Friends Of” organizations?

If you have a connection to, or even knowledge of, Animal Rescues in your locality, please get in touch! The more we can connect our shelter partners with resources to lighten their load, the more lives we can save! Email us at whowillletthedogsout@gmail.com

Big Dog Ranch Rescue-Alabama helps rescue dogs in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas. The rescue campus provides quarantine, rehabilitation, medical, and adoption facilities. It also serves as a transitional hub for shelters in the Northeast allowing the organization to rescue and vet dogs from Southern states and transport adoptable dogs to rescue partners in the Northeast. While at the Big Dog Rescue Ranch, the dogs are vetted, receive medical care, and are prepared for adoption.
