Karen is originally a New Yorker, but currently splits her time between Florida and Colorado. She has many years of experience with both sheltering and private rescue, having founded Bratpack small breed rescue in Florida. Karen and her husband have two daughters and five granddaughters, and like to spend their time traveling and cruising.
