Who WILL Let The Dogs Out?

Auction Reminder

ANNUAL FALL AUCTION STARTS TODAY

Our Annual Fall Auction is slated for

September 27 – October 7, 2024.

Our online auction goes live THIS FRIDAY!

We’ve got over 120 items, ranging from vacation houses to handmade quilts to books, gifts, and food. The largest category is for experiences, ranging from driving a race car to learning to cook plant-based recipes, plus theatre and sports tickets and fun experiences at water parks and museums. And, of course, there is LOTS of stuff for your dogs (and even something for your cat)!

I bid on our online auction and other nonprofit fundraising auctions to do almost all of my holiday (and some birthday) shopping. It’s a win-win: I get cool, unique gifts to give and support a good cause at the same time.
This auction is not just a chance to win exciting items. It's a lifeline for struggling shelters. The funds raised enable us to conduct shelter tours and fill our rescue vehicle with crucial, often unbudgeted, items for the shelters, like de-wormers, flea/tick preventatives, high-quality food and treats, and milk replacers for puppies and kittens. It also helps us provide enrichment items like lick boards, tough chewer toys, and bully sticks—items that make life just a little bit better for shelter dogs.
Check out the dog and cat items up for bid!
A WWLDO merch pack is also up for grabs!
Our tours bring more than supplies, though. They give us an opportunity to learn and share the shelter’s story and offer ideas, networking, and grant assistance. Maybe most importantly, we bring hope. By showing up with all kinds of support, we recognize the importance of the work shelter staff are doing. We demonstrate that people care sometimes, that is what shelters need most.
I invite you to register to bid TODAY and become an integral part of our mission to raise awareness and resources for shelter dogs and the heroes who fight for them. Your participation matters.
